Last week at Seven24 I started the teaching time by showing this video by Radiohead. I thought it was an appropriate start to the series because it highlights the reality of the unseen world that so many of us unknowingly rely on for the goods and services we use every day. The other day I was listening to Rage Against the Machine, and I got curious as to the meaning and background of their song “Sleep Now In The Fire”. My brief internet research led me to find the video for the song on YouTube, and I thought it was interesting. It’s eight years old, but its message is still relevant today. It’s a bit much to show in a church service, so I decided I’d just post it on here.
While I wouldn’t advocate social deviance like Rage does, I believe that some of the concerns they express in this video ought to be of concern to people of faith who care about issues of social justice (which, one would hope, would be all people of faith). Click here and watch the video and let me know your thoughts.

I tried to watch the video, but it said that it was no longer available. Is there perhaps another link you could post so that it’s accessible from your blog?
Love you.
